Criteria

As a rule of thumb, books printed before 1880 would be 'early', and books printed before 1920 should be considered for notability. Important first ones, such as the first encyclopedia, are probably admissible up to 1940. Digwuren 15:10, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
